A dark corridor stretches before you. You strain to make out the faint sounds echoing off its walls. Are there voices in the distance? Yes! There is a flicker of light ahead. Getting closer, the excited chatter becomes distinct. It is a group of adventurers. Wait, are they clutching book bags?

Wyrd and Wonder

The annual fantasy blogstraganza will be back this May! Join us to explore imaginary worlds; to uncover the mysteries beneath the skin of familiar streets; to be inspired by superheroes or beguiled by the Fae. The fantasy genre is broad, and we are broad-minded. Whatever flavour of fantasy you prefer, we want to hear about it. Whether you’re planning to read books, watch movies, play games, listen to podcasts or celebrate the breadth and depth of the fantasy genre in some other way, you’re welcome in our party.

Lisa, Jorie and I will be along for the adventure as your scribes to share your blog posts, retweet your opinions, and boost your TBRs.

So if you fancy hanging out with likeminded fantasy fans across the blogosphere, Twitter, Litsy and Instagram, sign up to let us know to expect you. Signing up is not a commitment – you may stumble through a wardrobe or find yourself too busy meeting the cake needs of a tribe of talking mice – it just lets us know to keep a seat by the fire for you to share your stories if you make it.

Quest rewards

There’s no deadline for signing up – if you only hear about this on the second-last day of May, you’re still welcome to join in the fun. But if you sign up before May 1st and make a Wyrd And Wonder post before the end of May 7th, you will be eligible for the sign up giveaway (indicate your interest in the sign up form).

Best laid plans

If you like to plan ahead, you’re in luck: the master schedule is ready and awaiting. If you’re really keen, feel free to start adding details of what you plan to get up to. Once May starts, please remember to add links to all your posts to the schedule to ensure we see them – if we don’t know about them, we can’t boost them.
