The nights are dark, the mercury’s dropping, the winter is closing in – but November means it’s SciFi Month again! This year I’m stepping in for our founder Rinn to help Lisa bring scifi geekery and out of this world enthusiasm from a wonderful crew of bloggers.
We’ll be showcasing content around the web from dozens of blogs including Avalinah’s Books, Eclectic Tales, Exploring by Starlight, Deanna Reads Books, Utopia State of Mind, Coffee and Crows, The Illustrated Page, Dragons Zombies & Aliens, Bookswagger and of course Over the Effing Rainbow.
Here at There’s Always Room For One More, things will be dedicated to all things scifi for the next few weeks (except for my weekly review of Tremontaine; a woman who knows what’s best for her won’t let a Duchess down and Micah would approve I’m sure).
I’ll mostly be sticking to speculative fiction and space opera: expect aliens, space travel and advanced technologies. There’s reviews of recent releases and some backlist gems; some SFtastic Top Tens; I’ll be revisiting The Book Was Better (or was it) to look at big screen SF efforts; and maybe – just maybe – I’ll finally finish my tour of the Culture…
It’s not too late to get involved – just sign up so we know you’re joining us and follow the official Twitter account @SciFiMonth for all the latest updates!
But SciFi means different things to different people: whether or not you plan to join the blogging festivities, what will you be reading during SciFi Month?
